Angkor Wat: the most impressive religious monument

Angkor Wat is a complex of temple buildings located in Cambodia, known as one of the largest religious monuments in the world. This temple complex was constructed in the early 12th century (1113-114'$) as a state temple by King Suryavarman II in Yasodharapura, now known as Angkor, the capital of the Khmer Kingdom.
