Abstract
UiTM continues reinforcing its global standing as 21 subjects across four broad subjects are listed in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025, announced today. This achievement surpasses the target of 20 subjects listed under the UiTM2025 Strategic Plan and strengthens the university's commitment to academic excellence. This year, 1747 institutions have been ranked across 55 subjects in five broad areas. One of the most significant achievements is the inclusion of English Language and Literature and Mathematics in the rankings for the first time in UiTM's history, securing positions in the 251-300 and 501-600 bands, respectively. Additionally. Materials Science has re-entered the rankings in the 401-550 band after being listed five years ago. Overall, four subjects have improved: Education. Agriculture and Forestry, Chemistry. Physics and Astronomy.
