Ramadan delights-taste & trivia and Quran completion ceremony & iftar with the Vice-Chancellor, staff and international students

UiTM Global hosted a vibrant and heartfelt event titled "Ramadan Delights: Taste & Trivia" in conjunction with the Quran Completion Ceremony and Iftar, gathering 60 international students from China, Pakistan, Indonesia, Oman, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, France, and Brunei. The evening was graced by Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, senior leadership, and staff in a meaningful display of unity and cross-cultural celebration. Held at the Foyer of UiTM Global, the program started with an engaging Taste & Trivia session, where students participated in a hands-on cooking experience, preparing cucur udang (prawn fritters) and ondeh-ondeh. Guided by local facilitators, students learned traditional preparation methods, the use of local ingredients, and the cultural significance of food during Ramadan. Beyond learning how to cook, they gained insight into Malaysian values of togethemess, hospitality, and gratitude. The experience culminated with students proudly serving their handmade delicacies to the Vice-Chancellor,a moment filled with joy and pride.
