Abstract
Nanotechnology in Forestry & Natural Resources Seminar 2019 was organized by Forest Research Institute (FRIM) in conjunction with Nano Kebangsaan 2019 on 10 October 2019 in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The conference was officiated by FRIM Director General, Dato’ Dr. Abd Latif Mohmod. The theme of the conference was Green Technology: Sustainable Solutions for Global Challenge. About 60 presenters (oral and poster) presented their research findings during the seminar. FSG lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Norasmah Hj. Surip was awarded as best oral presenter with her speech entitled Biodegradable Property of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) / Kenaf Fibers Nano Composite.
