Abstract

In the afternoon of the same day (13 June 2025), a strategic collaboration meeting was held between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM), Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University (QVTU) from China, and Huawei Technologies. The session marked a significant step in exploring trilateral cooperation in the fields of digital education. ICT talent development, and smart campus innovation. The meeting brought together key representatives from all three institutions. including Tea Wang. Director of International Affairs at QVTU, and senior representatives from Huawei's Global Public Sector Education Division. Discussions focused on leveraging Huawei's Digital Training 2.0 Solution, which offers cutting-edge training in areas such as Al, cloud computing. big data, and smart campus technologies. QVTU shared its success in integrating Huawei's certification programs, with over 790 students certified in 2024 alone, and expressed interest in expanding this model through collaboration with UiTM. UiTM, in turn, explored opportunities to co-develop joint innovation centers, industry-driven training programs, and student mobility initiatives that align with Malaysia's digital transformation agenda. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to formalizing the partnership through future agreements and pilot projects that support sustainable. tech-enabled education across borders.
