UİTM - Ohio University Partnership

On 10 June 2025. A fruitful collaboration meeting was recently held between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) and Ohio University at Chancellery Building. UiTM Shah Alam reaffirming their long-standing academic partnership and shared commitment to global education. The discussion focused on revitalizing and expanding the Tun Abdul Razak Chair (TARC) program, a prestigious academic initiative established in 1981 under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. This progran has served as a cornerstone of Malaysia-U.S. academic diplomacy, promoting research, cultural understanding, and scholarly exchange. The meeting also explored new avenues for joint research, faculty and student mobility, and collaborative academic events. building on the strong foundation laid by decades of cooperation. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm for continuing impactful initiatives that align with global education goals and mutual interests in areas such as culture, politics. economics, and social development This renewed engagement marksa significant step forward in strengthening the UiTM-Ohio University alliance and enhancing Malaysia's academic presence on the international stage.
