Abstract

EA Technique (M) (Sdn Bhd or Sendirian Berhad) is one of the groups which contributes highest profit significantly to Sindora and have stability in the operation. Since EA Technique declines in profits, the study was conducted to identify the main reasons this problem occurs. In this study has also used various methods, such as financial statement analysis, flow charts, existing policies, the loss report and interview to identify the risks. In the past studies have pointed out that factors such as the IMO regulation, legal political, concentration, business, financial, operational, and global investment Economic losses were among the causes of the shipping company. This study has found that high capital investment, high operating cost, termination contract by Petronas, Double Hull tanker, high borrowing exposure, spot charter, supply and demand and oil and gas is the primary cause of the losses faced by EA Technique over the pass three years. Indirectly, this study supports the previous studies. So it can be concluded that, to prevent and resolve these risks is vital for company management team to recover their financial performance in the future. As such, the company should play an important role to improve or reduce the risks to make sure all withdrawal of money and it’s liquidation in company are to be used wisely in liquidation are to be used wisely.
