FSG lecturer joined celebration of 60th anniversary of first human flight to space

Ts. Dr. Judith Gisip, senior lecturer from Faculty of Applied Sciences, UITM was Invited by the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Kuala Lumpur to an event in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the First Human Flight to Space by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on 12 April 1961. The event was held on 8 April 2021. The gathering started with the Director of RCSC, Ms. Svetlana Kovaleva welcoming all guests to the event, followed by a welcoming speech by His Excellency Naiyl M. Latypov, the Russian Ambassador to Malaysia. A special guest who was the first Malaysian astronaut, Dato' Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al Masrie Sheikh Mustapha delivered an inspirational speech in which he shared his unique Journey to space.
