FSG-Industry Linkage Day 2019

FSG-Industry Linkage Day 2019 was held on 23rd April 2019 with the theme of Academia-Industry Interactions: Bridging the Gap. The program was organised by Office of Research, Industrial Linkages & Alumni, Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG), UITM Shah Alam in collaboration with Research Innovation Business Unit (RIBU) and Corporation Malaysian Technology Development (MTDC). The aim of the program was to bring the industries closer to the university through research and innovation, involving the dissemination of knowledge to SMES and industry entrepreneurs. In addition, the program also encouraged the academia to conduct demand-driven based research that benefited our community. During the program, the participants were exposed to the Public-Private Research Grant (PPRN) joint venture research project, Synergized Industry-Experimenter Research Grant Initiative (SInERGI), Commercialization Research and Development Funp (CRDF) and other Industrial Grants. A showcase of research products was conducted to attract more opportunities for commercialization and partnerships between FSG and the industries. The organizers also provided an e-book, which is a directory of FSG researchers to the industry as a reference for further engagements. A total of 29 companies participated and engaged through the FSG-Industry Linkages Day 2019 program.
