FBM ICAN x MBSB Bank My School Our Future Generation ( MYGEN )

MYGEN is a collaboration between the Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM Puncak Alam and MBSB Bank Berhad. The objective of the MBSBUITM: MYGEN program was to guide and motivate students in planning and choosing their path after SPM, as well as to create awareness of financial literacy. The program took place at five different schools MK Ulu Kinta (Perak) SMK Lepar Hilir (Pahang) SMK Dangi (Seremban) SMK Demak Baru (Sarawak) SMK Bongawan (Sabah). The financial literacy (Celik Wang) program was aimed for form 4 students. There was a game/activity-based sharing session where the students were divided into small groups. Financial literacy skills were introduced early to students so that they would have the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to make financial decisions that promote financial self-sufficiency, stability, and well-being for planning for the future. The games/activities used critical thinking, problem-solving, and communicative approaches to encourage students to process and analyze the financial information given in hopes of making good financial decisions.
