Go beyond

There is no sole mean to succeed. Hence, one need to be smart enough to come up with a plan. TP 6 is the highest of proficiency level in PBD (Pentaksiran Berasaskan Bilik Darjah). An excellent pupils won’t settle lower than that. Go Beyond is an alternative mean of evaluation for PBD. The pupil develops it using online application with teachers’ little guidance. It creates by the pupils as a platform to share, show, expand and improve his skills with outstanding values outside the classroom and school. It is indeed an interesting way of developing one skill in many fields related to his learning and later to be evaluated by his concerning teachers. Myzan Luqman bin Mohd Yazid, the owner of this idea is a pupil of year 5 in SK Termunong,Tuaran. Go Beyond been started in March 2023 and showed it impacts in pupil PBD’s report in July. The pupil shared his Go Beyond link to his four teachers who teach him English,RBT,BM and PAI for them to evaluate him through his activities outside the classroom and school. Myzan Luqman bin Mohd Yazid had been presented his project via recorded video in GESS Istanbul and proudly join his teachers to share about his project to all headmasters and principals of Tuaran District in ‘Program Pemantapan Kepimpinan Pengetua dan Guru Besar’ organized by Tuaran District Education Office. The project been broadened to more pupils in order to help them in their PBD as well. The headmaster of SK Termunong agreed to expand the project to level two pupils. It is hope to improve the percentage of pupils who are able to reach TP 4 and above in their PBD.
