Abstract
Associate Professor Wan Akil Tuanku Adbullah was awarded the Johan Bintang Kenyalang (JBK) award also known as the Companion of the Order of the Star of Hornbill Sarawak. Meanwhile, Mr. Kamijo Hassan Tani was awarded the Bintang Bentara Sarawak (BBS) known as the Herald of the Order of the Star of Sarawak. Both awards fall within the category of the Most Exalted Order of The Star of Sarawak award and can only be awarded to limited recipients at a time. Also, at the ceremony, Mr. Abdul Khalid Bin Karim was awarded the Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (PPT). It is an award under the Commendable Service Medal-Bronze in the category of Civil Administration Medal.
