Lifelong learning: learn as if you were to live forever

Paramasivam, Sheela and Teoh, Joo Tong and Chong, Gee Ling (2025) Lifelong learning: learn as if you were to live forever. Bulletin. Universiti Teknologi MARA, Negeri Sembilan.

Abstract

Lifelong learning (LLL) is the continuous development of skills and knowledge throughout a person’s entire life, not limited to formal education in schools or universities. Although many believe learning ends after obtaining academic qualifications and entering the workforce, LLL emphasizes that learning happens from childhood to old age and across all settings home, community, and workplace. It is a life-wide and ongoing process shaped by daily experiences and opportunities that help individuals grow and adapt in an ever-changing world.
