Academic visit to the Sarawak General Hospital

Through their observations students felt enlightened and felt compassion for the plight of the patients. They could empathized with the family of the patients and that fulfilled the objective of the visit which was mainly to see for ourselves the plight of the patients and their families. It was also to observe the management of the hospital. It was found that the management has managed the hospital environment well. The trip was very fruitful in a sense that it helped to inculcate the importance of health among the students. We were very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to visit the hospital. We thank the staff and management of the hospital for their hospitality.
