Abstract

Peeragogy, recognized in Malaysia’s Higher Education Blueprint as a 21st-century pedagogy supporting lifelong learning, emphasizes collaborative and peer-driven learning where learners not only work together but also co-design, monitor, and set goals for their learning. Unlike traditional collaborative learning guided by educators, peeragogy fosters mutual agency, enabling learners to share responsibility for what is learned, how it is learned, and with whom. This approach enhances the four Cs creative thinking, critical analysis, collaboration, and communication within interactive, problem-solving learning environments.
