Abstract
The Exploratory Expedition of the Gunung Buda - Gunung Mulu UiTM Trail took place from 9-17 May 2004 organized by Sarawak Branch. The objective is to develop methodologies for annual expeditions identifying specific research projects and education opportunities for students, academics and researchers from UiTM in collaboration with other government or non-government agencies. The goal is to map the region of Buda-Mulu National Parks for a better understanding of the natural resources and social issues based on biotourism concept of the SAVE (Scientific, Academics, Volunteers and Education) market. Participation came from lecturers of the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Survey, Faculty of Hotel Catering Management, Faculty of Applied Science, Faculty of Business Management, UiTM Sarawak Branch, UiTM Sabah Branch, UiTM Negeri Sembilan and University of Malaya.
