Abstract
This project is focusing on the types of drugs that available in HTJS and how to administer it. Questionnaires were done to 100 asthmatic patients and the data were collected.
From the data, it shows:
- MDI Inflammide is mostly prescribed.
- Shortness of breath is the most symptoms that patients get.
- Cold is the most allergen that triggers asthma attacks.
- Patients' compliance to asthma medications is identified.
- Mechanism of asthma medicines also focused.
- The effectiveness of asthma medicines is identified.
This research has been done after a discussion for a topic and related subtopics has been made. Therefore, "The Study of Compliance to Medication in Asthmatic Patients in Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar Seremban (HTJS)" has been chosen for the title of this research project.
So, it is agreed to take asthma patients in HTJS as our sample.
As research being held, it is hoped to improve knowledge about Asthma and help patients to improve their asthma condition in the future.
Last but not least, "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE".
