Abstract
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) successfully organised “Haruman Kasih: Bengkel Pembuatan Sabun” on 22 August 2025 (Friday) at Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PPDK) Saujana Utama. This meaningful community program was designed as part of UiTM’s social responsibility initiative to empower individuals with special needs by equipping them with basic entrepreneurial skills. The workshop was carried out to provide exposure and handson experience in basic soap-making techniques, to build participants’ selfconfidence through interactive and creative learning activities, to encourage entrepreneurship and income generation through handmade soap products and to strengthen collaboration between Faculty of Pharmacy UiTM, PPDK Saujana Utama, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Daerah Kuala Selangor and the surrounding local community.
