Academic mission to Mulu

We are students of Diploma in Tourism Management group HMD4T1 just-back from another exciting academic mission. This time, our destination was Mulu, the home of the Berawan and Penan community. The idea came from our lecturer Miss Nuraini Hj Putit and it became our assignment for the course HTT 230 (Event Management). Our main objective was to promote our course and the university to the local people especially the Berawan and Penan community. Beside that, the objective was to enhance our skill in managing an event as it is an integral part of the tourism industry. Other objectives would be introducing ourselves to the real tourism industry as we explore Mulu, the Worid's Heritage Area.
