Factors influencing employees’ investment decision

Investment is one of the ways to increase income for individual and to expand or to improve certain asset in organization. Investment is high risk and it require a lot of hard work and sacrifice to make it work. Investment can be an asset like a constructed building and facility, or it can be the purchase of bonds, stocks or real estate in the financial sense. Since investment involve risk, it is not the same as saving because while the concept is the same which is to prepare for the future, saving did not involve risk. The purpose of this thesis is to find out which factors that influence employee’s investment decision. It is important to understand and to study the factor that will influence employee’s investment decision as it will help both the finance industry and the government to implement policy that would benefits the employees. The method used in this study is regression analysis which would help to show which factors is the most significant and whether the factors significant or not significant. The techniques used to collect and gathered data was by distributing of questionnaires to the target population that will be explain further in Chapter 3. Based on the analysis done, it shows that all factors in independent variables are correlated and have a significant value which shows that all the variables can be used and accepted.
