Abstract
AI-generated visuals are becoming increasingly realistic, often blurring the line between imagination and reality. With just a few prompts, AI tools can create stunning images and videos without the need for cameras or production crews. While these visuals can be creative and entertaining, they also raise concerns about misinformation. A viral case in July 2025 involved an elderly couple who travelled to a non-existent tourist spot after seeing a highly convincing AI-generated video. The video mimicked a professional news report, misleading viewers into believing the attraction was real. This incident highlights the potential of AI to deceive. As AI visuals become more widespread, critical thinking and digital literacy are essential. Users must be cautious when consuming online content. The future of media demands both innovation and responsibility.
