A legacy of leadership: the inspirational journey of Wan Muzlaina Wan Mustafa

Wan Muzlaina Wan Mustafa was born in Paya Bunga, Kuala Terengganu, where the vibrant culture and close-knit community instilled in her a strong sense of belonging and purpose. Growing up in this supportive environment, she was inspired to pursue a career that would allow her to give back to her community. Wan Muzlaina began her academic journey at UiTM Shah Alam, where she excelled in her studies and earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Her passion for learning and dedication to her field propelled her to further her education, obtaining a Master’s degree in accounting from the same institution. With her impressive qualifications and a deep-seated commitment to education, Wan Muzlaina embarked on her teaching career at UiTM Dungun, where she served for three years. Her exceptional teaching methods and genuine concern for her students earned her widespread respect and admiration during this period. After completing her Master’s degree, she joined UiTM Kelantan, where her ability to simplify complex accounting principles and foster an engaging learning environment made her a favorite among students and colleagues alike. Her leadership skills and dedication did not go unnoticed. She was appointed as the Head of the Accounting Program at UiTM Kelantan, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and enhancing the quality of education offered. Her innovative approach to teaching and unwavering commitment to academic excellence have significantly contributed to the faculty's success.
