Abstract
Three postgraduate students from the T Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi MARA were crowned champion ofthe first Latitudes International Design Challenge 2016 organised by the University of Westminster in London, recently. Featuring a structure which combines solar panels and wind turbines to ease living conditions in the urban slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the team Urban Chimney won the judges' hearts and earned themselves an exchange trip to Sao Paulo in October.
