Abstract

The Remote control via Phone line for smart home is designed to allow the user to easily control a target electrical equipments such as air conditioner unit using a telephone set via telephone line. That is, if the user wants to control the air conditioner unit at home, what he needs to do is just to pick up a phone, dial his home telephone number, key in his security code and, input a User Control Code (contains running mode, fan speed, temperature, duration, etc.); then the air conditioner unit will be commanded to run.
