Abstract
BEAM robotics is a new subject in robotics research. BEAM robotics are a kind of robot which is build with minimal electronic and mechanical parts but with special adoption of behaviors from lower level order life form. This project deals with designing a Biology Electronic Aesthetics Mechanics (BEAM) robot. This robot is a two-wheeler type, which get its power source from a solar cell. The robot is powered by a non-linear analog control technology that has been evolved to automatically solve real time control problems normally difficult to handle with conventional digital methods which is known as Nervous Network (Nv). But in this two-wheeler type robot will only be build using the transistor implementation of the Nervous Network (Nv) to reduce the effect of non-linearities. The robot will also be equipped with a sensor that will make the robot to try to avoid any black patches and obstacles. Applications are now focusing on the use of this technology for adaptive survivorbased space hardware, for use in unexploded ordinance, mines tracking, and munitions detection and destruction.
