Abstract

This thesis illustrates the design of stereo tone circuit includes treble, mid-range and bass. Circuits are used passive components (i.e. resistors and capacitors) for signal filtering which forms low-pass filter, band-pass filter and high-pass filter. The low frequency range for bass is less than 1 kHz down to 20 Hz, mid-range frequency between 9.96 kHz up to 21.46 kHz and treble frequency from 19.14 kHz up to 40 kHz. This design also consists of power supply and power amplifier circuit. We use sub-circuit design and simulation to simplify the design and simulation cycles. This has helps a lot in problem identification and solving them. The simulation and practical data of stereo tone preamplifier circuit were presented sequentially.
