Offline public access cataloge (offPAC)

OffPAC is a smart phone application designed for iOS and Android which function as an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). User may use OffPAC even without an active Internet connection to search within library catalogue. It transforms the traditional ways of searching materials on OPAC that is installed on dedicated computer with an Internet or network connection. OffPAC displays a complete material bibliographic information on user’s smartphone screen and makes it easier for any library user to find books in the collection and bookmarked them for later access. It provides easy workflow for library staff and users in order to check whether any book or material is already available or not on library shelves. OffPAC application is further enhanced for asset tracking. When users need to locate any asset, the asset number will indicate the location of the asset in any large stores or storage rooms.
