Abstract
Whatever crises involving the Malaysian athletes lately will not prevent them from putting up their best performance at the Indonesian SEA Game recently. Congratulation goes to Malaysian football team for having successfully maintained the first position in South East Asia in football sport. The glory success was due to an excellent performance and moral spirit of 1Malaysia said by Harun Rasheed the Athletics Chief Coach. Malaysia has never been lacking in sports talents but aggressive efforts must be emphasis in determine the goals orientation of achievement that can bring them to the Olympics level of performance. The important of sport experience and provide meaning of goals orientation towards achievement is paradoxical and inconsistent within the human condition. Sport research also addressed the fuller understanding is necessary specifically sport participation motives as well as identifying the reasons predominantly related to mastering skill, task-involvement, self improvement and work hard will define the success achievement (Boyce, Gano-Overway, & Campbell,2009; Duda,1993) One of the most obvious features of sporting competitions is the pervasiveness of full spectrum of goals orientation experienced in respond to wining. Research to asses goals orientation experienced in sport indicates that emotion react to success or failure that influence individual's performance level, and drive to compete in future competition (Kerr & Cox, 1990; Reeve, 1992). Locke and Latham (2002) define goals as the aim of an action to attain a standard of proficiency within a specific time and advocate that
