Invigilator exam scheduling system

As of September 2018, Faculty of Computer & Mathematical Sciences in UiTM is still using a system that are not fully automated. Because of its nature, it usually involved high administrative costs, may stall in producing the required information, low efficiency of work performance, and a lot of times there will be a mistake or failure that occur. One of the problems that has been identified in the current process are existence of redundant data, not fully automated, time consuming, high volume of data and lack of feature. Hence, this project aims to develop an Invigilator Exam Scheduling System that will address some of the identified problem and limitation of the current system and will improve the efficiency of the process of making exam timetable. The project system must be able to reduce redundant data, take less time to use, can handled large volume of data and have feature such as filtering, searching and calendar viewing. The project scope will only cover exam timetable scheduling for the invigilation part only. The target user of the system is the staff that are in charge in making timetable for the invigilation. This project will use agile methodology in development. The project will only cover lifecycle until testing only and will not be deploy. The platform that will be used for this project is a web-based system. One of the projects significant is the system can help the staff in charge of making timetable for the invigilation by reducing workload. The system will minimize the time taken while also reducing error than can happen. Moreover, the system will make viewing timetable much more organized and systematic.
