Abstract

Crime is a social problem faced by all countries including Malaysia that occur regardless of place, location and time. Crime never ceases to exist if there is no cooperation between the communities and the authorities. Crime sites or so-called hotpots area are the focus of authorities to increase their assets to combat crime. The problem faced by the current process of crime complaint people need to fill out the form available on the official control of RELA to help control crime in residential areas or specific locations. The form must be handed back to the office to get RELA close confirmation of employee directors of the RELA state as a record. The objectives of this project are to identify the user requirements of CReM mobile application content for the slow learners, to design, and to develop CReM mobile application. The scope of this project is for users only to the complaint the crime occurs. The mobile application allowing the user to share their current location by complaint button and the user can request for patrolling at a particular time period on patrol buttons feature. This project used the MADLC as the methodology approach to the development of CReM mobile application. MADLC process is divided into 7 phases which are identification phase, design phase, development phase, prototyping phase, testing phase, deployment phase and maintenance phase. Based on the result of user testing, it shows positive feedback from the users in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. As a conclusion, CReM mobile application help target users make the crime complaint through online.
