Abstract
Industrial training is one of the programs that all students or undergraduates in an organisation or university of higher learning must go through at some point in order to develop new skills and get valuable job experience. So, this report is created to highlight my industrial training experience at Tevo Creations Sdn Bhd, a private firm based in Simpang Ampat, Penang. The institution has designated a 24-week term for industrial training, beginning on March 1, 2024, and ending on August 9, 2024. Industrial training is required for all undergraduate degrees within the Faculty of Business and Management, as determined by university management. I was therefore obliged to do industrial training prior to receiving my Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Finance. I was appointed in charge of the finance and accounting department.
During the 24 weeks of industrial training, I embarked on an incredible journey that I had never previously experienced, which included a great environment at work and coworkers that cooperated well. At Tevo Creations, I learnt new duties and the work culture, which increased my skills and talents to be a good and diligent employee in the future. As an intern at Tevo Creations, I was assigned to the finance department and had the chance to manage the company's accounts receivable. My role is to assist with the company's day-to-day transactions. My responsibilities include entering or knocking off payments received from customers in the ERP system, keeping records of firm transactions, sending statements of accounts to all customers at the end of each month, and other tasks. By completing all of the assigned chores, I will be able to better myself and become a more thorough and capable person when I begin working in the future.
This industrial training is really valuable and completes me, as I only acquired theoretical topics at university. This hands-on experience not only increased my learning, but also helped me to use the skills and ideas I learned in a professional situation. Finally, during my training, I was fortunate to work with a caring and helpful team of colleagues who contributed significantly to my learning experience. Their mentorship and readiness to share their skills fosters a positive and non-awkward environment. In addition, I was fortunate to have a nice and accessible boss, regardless of ethnicity or religion. She also shares useful industry insights and is willing to assist if I have an issue with a task or the like. Simply said, I suggest Tevo Creations as the greatest training firm for everyone because all of its staff members are youthful, personable, and active.
