Industrial training report: ATC Surface Finishing Sdn Bhd

To graduate from any degree programme at the University of Technology Mara (UiTM), industrial training is a mandatory prerequisite. An internship of 24 weeks is required of each student. The professor is tasked with helping the trainee complete the work and the company supervisor keeps an eye on them.
This industrial training programme aims to give students exposure to real-world work environments and useful experiences that they can carry over into the future. During their internship, students can enhance their critical thinking abilities and acquire new skills by participating in several practical projects that demand a high degree of problem-solving capabilities. Students can also use all of their academic knowledge to the needs of the organisation by tailoring it to enhance their creativity and meet the qualifications required of employees. Aside from that, internships also place a strong emphasis on professionalism and work ethic, including timeliness, communication skills, teamwork, and trustworthiness, all of which contribute to the development of students' positive personalities.
There are six sections to the report, which are a profile of the student, a description of the company, a reflection on the training, a SWOT analysis, a discussion and recommendation section, and a conclusion part. In Pulau Pinang, I had reported to work for ATC Surface Finishing Sdn Bhd. The services offered by this company are treatment, coating, surface, anodizing, powder coating and metal finishing. The training reflection includes administrative and human resource activities I completed during my industrial training. During my internship, I have completed the industrial training report and acquired a wealth of valuable knowledge and practical experience.
