Abstract
The Pharmabridge Indonesia event, held from November 13 to November 18, 2024, at Airlangga University, Surabaya, was a remarkable program that brought together pharmacy students and professionals from diverse regions. Organised by the Students Representative Council (MPP) 2023/2024 session, Society of Pharmacy Students (SOPHYS) and Student Secretariat of Faculty of Pharmacy (SMF), the event offered a platform for academic learning, cultural appreciation, and meaningful community engagement. By combining professional development with immersive experiences, the initiative highlighted the importance of global collaboration in shaping future pharmacists. A major highlight of the program was the impactful community service conducted at Suroboyo Park, Surabaya, East Jawa, Indonesia. Participants engaged directly with the local community to raise awareness about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Through conversations and the distribution of informative brochures, the participants educated the community on preventive measures and management strategies for COPD. This activity showcased the commitment of pharmacy students to promoting public health and underscored the importance of pharmacists in addressing community health challenges.
