Abstract

This course provides a comparative understanding of constitutional principles, doctrines and methods. It studies constitutional institutions like Parliament, the executive and judiciary and examines their role, functions and effectiveness. Semester One concentrates on principles and institutions. Semester Two focuses on human rights. This course also promotes the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as information management.
