Abstract

This study investigates the awareness of hibah, an Islamic wealth management tool, among the staff at Pejabat Agama Islam Rompin. Hibah, which refers to the voluntary transfer of ownership of an asset without any consideration, is deeply rooted in Islamic teachings and plays a crucial role in estate management and wealth distribution. Despite its significance, there is a notable gap in the understanding and application of hibah among the staff, which can lead to inefficient estate management. This research aims to assess the current awareness, identify key factors influencing this awareness, and evaluate the impact on asset management practices. By employing qualitative methods, including interviews and literature reviews, the study seeks to provide valuable insights into enhancing the financial literacy of the staff, promoting the adoption of hibah, and ensuring fair wealth distribution in accordance with Islamic principles. The findings are expected to inform targeted educational programs and improve the overall effectiveness of hibah as a financial planning tool.
