LAS691: Introduction to Golf Course Design / College of Built Environment

The content of the course is precisely composed to fulfill the needs of the students who would like to venture into the game of golf as a designer. It introduces the students the basic principles of golf course design, and the application of other technical skills like earth grading, irrigation technique, and sub-surface drainage. Students will also be exposed to the real environment of golf course through site visits. Some common terminology used in the game of golf will also be introduced to the students.
