There are two research articles that has been summarize which are article 1 and article 2. This articles are related to the used of audio-visual. The title of the article 1 is “Audio-visual interactions in environment assessment” which has been published in 2015. The authors of this article are Anna Preis, Jedrzej Koncinski, Honorata Hafke-Dys, and Małgorzata Wrzosek. Their research is to study how visual and audio information influences audio-visual environment assessment. The participants in this research were asked to rate based on numerical standardized scale and also their degree of comfort on the environment. Meanwhile the title of the article 2 is “Immersive virtual reality and environmental noise assessment : An innovative audio-visual approach” which has been published in 2013. The authors of this article are Francesco Ruotolo, Luigi Maffei, Maria Di Gabriele, et al. Their research is to propose a new way for environment noise assessment that can be used to examine in advance the potential negative effects of noise. The participants on the experiment were exposed to 3D reconstructions in the two ways which are the actual landscape without the projected motorway, and from the same landscape with the projected motorway.
