Abstract

One cannot deny that toilets are an important part of living. After what is consumed digested, nutrients in it are absorbed. Substances that are not need or are harmful to body are passed out. These wastes are harmful and poisonous and can be used as agents in disease spreading. It is thus important to dispose well of these wastes so that they not pose a threat to human health. The area to work on this would be the toilet. Hence, everyone must agree that toilets are part of our lives. Good personal hygiene habits reflect one’s upbringing. Toilets reflect the hygiene standards of the individuals. Toilet also is the place where many people upkeep their person hygiene, but it can also be the most unhygienic place (Lo Wing-Lok : 2007). So that, toilet can be a serious matter of health, where germs can be spread through the toilets. Our government, local authority and the private agencies is providing the Malaysian with public toilet facilities in shopping complex, schools, offices, highways, recreational parks, restaurants and also in the middle of town especially at the roadside for instance. Yet, until now our Government still improves the availability and quality of these facilities.
