Lighting and fan control using PIC

Ahmad Diniah, Najihah (2008) Lighting and fan control using PIC. [Student Project] (Unpublished)

Abstract

This project paper describes hardware and software development of smart room for fill comfortable, calm and relaxes by using Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC). This smart room system is designs and supplies lighting control systems that will seamlessly integrate with the heating controls, offering the convenience of controlling the heating and lighting from the same user interface. The systems consist of motion sensor or motion detector and temperature sensor. Fan speed level is controlled via temperature sensor. Motion detector is the action of sensing physical movement in a given area. It can be detected by measuring change in movement of objects in the field of view whether it is ‘dark’ or ‘light’ situation.
