LAS690: Construction Management / College of Built Environment

The course introduces the concept of management, i.e. planning and controlling, in construction project. It emphasizes the role of the landscape architect as a project manager in construction project with multiple participants, viz. the owner, designer, and contractor. The intent of the course is to give initial exposure to the importance and role of construction and its management in landscape design prior to going through the construction courses in the subsequent semesters.
