Abstract
Prism Ascent is a timber and glass based pavilion inspired by the crystal shape that can be used as a lounge, group discussion, mini library, shelter, or as a rest area in the parks. We provide covered spaces and open spaces suitable for students to relax, have group discussions or seek shelter. It can be used as an exhibition, art installation or as a temporary structure for events. The target user can be anyone but is mainly focused on UiTM residents. It is a place that provides a harmonious combination of nature, where you can relax and offers a quiet place to de-stress. Prism Ascent offers a comfortable swing ball seating in front of the mini library and also offers a prism-shaped bench complemented by a tree in the middle that creates a peacefull environment. For the open space we also use a stairs with different functions either seat on comfortable cushion or use other stair to go up to the loftnet. The stairs it also comes with few planter box on several step to give the nature atmosphere.
