A case study of the academic performance among the students in the Bachelor of Administrative Science degree programme who hold a diploma from UiTM and those without a diploma from UiTM

The performance of the students contributes to the achievement of faculty in providing the better graduates in the future. The achievement of student are based on the performance of the students in their study. The study is to determine whether the result of former diploma of UiTM is much better than non former UiTM students or vice versa. The study examines the comparison of those with the diploma holders from UiTM and those without the diploma of UiTM. A systematic sampling of 84 respondent from part 3 and 4 students for semester December 2007 until May 2008 in Bachelor Administrative Science (Hons) that have been answered the questionnaires been given. The performance of the students towards the degree subject was examined. The student learning techniques and facilities provided contribute to the performance of the students. The study indicates that there are differences results between students of diploma holders from UiTM and those without the diploma from UiTM in academic performance.
