Abstract
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a disease that makes a children difficult to communicate and interact with other people. It can cause a child become upset easily and have unusual responses to certain situations. Children with autism basically struggle with reading comprehension. Hence, it has been decided to develop this project to teach children with autism reading. This first objective of this project is to design a skills of reading for autism children. This project will develop a mobile apps for autism children aged by 7 years old to 11 years old. This project applied an ADDIE methodology framework which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The expected outcome of this project is to give a simple and easier reading skills for children with autism disorder. The first phase is an analysis about the children with ASD that conducted from the interview and observation. Next phase is design phase which is the storyboard will be a drawn to become a guideline in the next phase. The third phase is development, in the development phase, all software and hardware will be used to conduct a project based on the storyboard. The fourth phase is implementation phase that will be testing to the autism children to get an evaluation that will be used in the last phase. In the last phase, the measurement will be measured on the effectiveness of the project based on the testing. In conclusion, the final product of the project have achieved the objective.
