Abstract

The researcher conducted a survey research to obtain information about aspects of dangerous goods cargo distribution for BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd. This paper provides an overview of How to improve security of transporting DG cargo by road. The study assesses the current method used by looking closely into its operational activities, customer service relations etc. The researcher chooses to concentrate on land transport distribution although sea transportation is the main mode of transport for BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd products. This is because land transportation are still lacking of regulations and information compare to the sea transportation.
