Abstract

Nowadays, as people know, our earth is filled with a mixture of flora. Flora is something unique and interesting if people know about the special properties. The plants also important role as the air conditioning in the open because the trees serve as absorbs dust or haze and change the air conditioning carbon dioxide to oxygen. Usually, every house has more than two plants whether flower plant or other plant to keep the area clean with green environment. Therefore, watering system is important for plants to grow up. The system is more better if use solar energy as a source. Solar energy is one of type for renewable energy. Renewable energy is refer to any energy source that is naturally processes that are constantly which is, it does not have a limited supply. The main objective of this project Solar Powered Sprinkler System is sprinkler water to plant when the soil become dry and used solar energy as an electricity or power supply to control this system. This project is to upgrade the performance of watering system to automatic sprinkler water system with used of solar energy. Overall these projects use Arduino Uno as a microcontroller that controls the system. The programmings that need to include in Arduino Uno are solar charger shield, soil moisture sensor, light sensor, and ultrasonic sensor.
