Abstract
This course is the second of two parts of physiology courses for students of physiotherapy and occupational therapy undergraduate programs. During the course, students will garner knowledge on how the motor and sensory pathways carry information to and from brain into executing bodily functions. Apart from the nervous function, students will also learn on the physiology of other systems in the body including the special senses, endocrine, urinary, respiratory and the reproductive systems. The teaching methodology will be a mixed of lectures, discussion and group work. Assessments will include a test, a written assignment, a project and a final examination. Students are encouraged to actively engage in the learning process so as to ensure full understanding of the topics covered.
