Abstract

This paper concentrates on analysis of the teletraffic statistic on congestion and forecasting using Teletraffic Analysis System (TASS). Teletraffic analysis are required for cellular system layout, planning and also to evaluate trade off in a system design. Two main objectives of this paper is to analyze the phone traffics statistic using simple software and to solve for the optimum number of trunk required in the system. Performance evaluation methods are required in order to analyze congestion effects on the network and to adapt forecasting procedure to the network. Therefore, this thesis is to evaluate the congestion rate in the system and ways to solve them also forecast the future work.
