Industrial training report: Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad / Muhammad Amar Zikri Zamzuri

The field of industrial pre-professional work experience with defined tasks and responsibilities is offered by IMD 310. Throughout the industrial training program, the student is required to participate in workplace activities and satisfy the same standards of responsibility and work output as the company’s regular workers. An industrial training program enhances a student’s employability following graduation by being relevant to their career objectives. Based on the industrial training period within 8 weeks from 22July 2024 until 13 September 2024 at the Information Technology Department, Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad, the internship offers a chance to connect educational learning to real-world applications in an industrial setting. The program’s objectives are to meet the requirements of graduation on Diploma in Information Management (CDIM110), to give students experience in a variety of tasks, and to provide a practical component to the theoretical work they study to better understand how businesses function. I served as a Support/Administrator at the Information Technology Department during my internship, which allowed me to engage with clients, gather information, and see the advantages of providing customer service. I have gained much knowledge and joy during my internship program at the Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad company. I was able to make use of this chance to improve and expand my skills in my area of work.
