Abstract

Foreign workers who comes to host country with many reasons. The aim of the study is to investigate the determinants of foreign workers inflows in Malaysia. In addition, the study makes an assessment of macroeconomics indicators such as population, unemployment rate, gross domestic product and exchange rate. The panel data of for the period of 2005 to 2015 is used to investigate the factors. The study highlights the relationship between foreign workers and macroeconomics determinants. It is concluded that population and gross domestic product are important in order to influences the foreign workers inflow.
