Abstract
A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is an online learning platform offering accessible and flexible education to a large audience. MOOCs represent a technologically advanced, free, and globally accessible form of online education, recently gaining popularity as a personalised learning approach within colleges and universities (Universiti Malaya Press, 2025). Despite these advancements, ongoing challenges related to course quality and student engagement require continued evaluation to maximise MOOCs' potential in the Malaysian context. Many students enjoy learning through MOOCs because they find the courses inspiring and motivating, making learning more engaging and enjoyable.
